Civil War-era church fears road closure

The pastor of Sudley Church, which sits on a Northern Virginia hillside in Manassas National Battlefield Park, worries that protecting the park’s history will destroy his congregation’s future. That’s because the 19th century church, where the floorboards are no longer stained with soldiers' blood, lies along what is now a busy commuter route.
